Adventures in Bolivian Salt Flats
Each image has a story of its own. I spent four days in the Salar de Uyuni (a vast salt flat located in Bolivia). The first day was spent driving deep into the salt flats. My clothes immediately became covered with salt, my tripod bravely withstood the salinity of the environment. A rain storm approached, and I took the opportunity as a blessing, as rainy weather often creates more interesting images than perfect sunny days.I love the perfect symmetry in this image. I loved being in the Salar de Uyuni, it was quiet and unlike any other place on earth. During the day, the colours were surreal and dreamlike. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, and I worked hard and maintained focus to capture the beauty of this place.
